About Me
My name is Karen Woods and I live in Warrandyte, a suburb in the leafy outer East of Melbourne.
I was born and grew up in England, emmigrating to Australia with my Aussie husband, Rick.
Rick and I first lived in Brisbane, then moved to Townsville - where our 3 children were born and finally (so we thought) to Melbourne. However, Ricks company had different ideas and we next lived as expats in Singapore followed by Houston, Texas. We finally returned to Melbourne almost 4 years ago - and this is where we will be staying!!!
I first tried out stamping and card making while living in Hoston - initially just to make up the numbers for a friend who was hosting a “Stampin’ Up party”. I realised very quickly that this was a craft I could actually do and really enjoy, within no time at all I was hooked!!!!!! I joined a regular stamp group and found I couldn’t wait for these meetings as they not only became my “stamp” days but also days I would look forward to as my fun and laughter days. I am still in touch with some of the girls from this original group now, even though we are scattered all over the world.
Not long after I arrived home in Melbourne, I discovered Stampin’ Up were launching here in Oz and I joined up immediately, pre-dominantly to purchase product for personal use.
Three years down the track and I have a small business which I can operate to fit in with my family needs, a downline of around 50 demonstrators, many of whom have become good friends and a wonderful, ever-growing circle of customers who are lovin’ using the Stampin’ Up products as well!!
